Motivation help?

I do exercises for my abs daily, but I only did it for few weeks and I quit. I know you need a lot of time and exercise to get abs, but I just can't be motivated and do it daily without quiting. Any tips on how to be motivated and not quit as soon as I start?
Answer:
well i think that if i miss a day i'll be a day away from getting my six pack the sooner the better. And their is something that pissed me off, and i put my frustration and anger into working out which also helps me very much. And you need to look up to something and just imagine how cool it'll be when you have a six pack and most other guys dont!
Tell someone that you see everyday, (sibling or spouse or parents) and tell them to watch you do it if not just remind you. THen you feel the need to meet up to their expectations too.
look at some pictures where this man have this beautiful abs..

and say to yourself, i will have that.. i can have that..
mirrors, pictures or quotes where u can see them everyday. to get my self motivated i usually come up with a catchy phrase or a saying in a different language that reminds me of my goal and i say it to myself every time i need to
listen to music that gets you pumped up and workout with another friend they will motivate you and push you.
At first, motivation is all about getting sand kicked in your face. Just think of the people who have disrespected you, and use your anger. But after you start to get really fit, you'll be on cruise control, because you'll feel so great.

As for your routine, your approach is a waste of time.

Everyone has some ab development, they're just usually covered with fat.

What you want to do is build muscle all over, because muscle burns fat.

The three main exercises to do are: bench press, dead-lift, and squat. These exercises develop your abs WAY MORE than sit-ups or ANY other ab-"isolating" exercises. Trust me.

Do a "split routine": Day 1: legs (squat and ancillary exercises)
Day 2: rest
Day 3: back (deads and anc.)
Day 4: rest
Day 5: chest (bench and anc.)
Day 6: rest
Repeat.

Very important: Warm up thoroughly before you begin, and do several sets of much lower-weight reps, working up to your workout weight. Thoroughly stretch the muscles you have worked at the end of the day's workout. Stretch as much as you want between sets, too.

The rest days are when your muscles actually grow and are crucial. Don't just sit around all day though. Do some chores, stretch, stay loose and flexible.

These exercises are very effective if done correctly, and very dangerous if done incorrectly. The bench press, in particular, tends to cause a lot of injuries that can bring your lifting career to a halt. It happens all the time.

If I could do it all over, I would get a sports physician and a highly qualified strength trainer to guide me. The dangers of lifting can seem remote to someone who is young and strong, but you can be hurt in subtle ways that you might not even really notice at first, and then those small injuries get worse over time until they stop you. You have to know what the signs are. Know the difference between burn and pain.

If you have "plateaued," or stopped making progress, VARY YOUR ROUTINE. So if you normally do wide-grip presses, throw in some narrower grip ones. Narrow stance, wide stance squats, etc.

Also try cycling the intensity of your routine: start with a weight you can handle for 10 reps and work up to 14 reps over the course of several sessions. Then increase the weight and work up to 14 reps again. Then for the next few sessions go for lower reps at heavier weight.

Stay hydrated (but don't over-do it), and EAT a lot. Every three hours, no matter what (except when sleeping at night). Most people are shocked to find out how much food you have to eat to build muscle.

NEVER just go through the motions. You'll get hurt. If you can't find the intensity, take the day off. Don't waste your time in the gym unless you are there to work and challenge yourself.

Never try to do more than a day's work in one day.

Get up early.

For other exercises, and to get more motivated, watch every one of this guy's videos on youtube:

find a girl that you really like and then try to get your self to want to impress her enough. then when you think about working out you'll tell yourself well if i do then she'll be like wow your hottttt
